Two Discernments in the Kelim
761. Two Discernments in the Kelim
There are two discernments in the Kelim [vessels]: the part that they receive and the part that they give.
For example, the Kli [vessel] of Bina is regarded as having a little bit of reception, but it is enough to correct itself and create equivalence of form, that it wants to bestow. Hence, from the part of reception that exists in Bina, we say that Malchut is included in Bina, but not in the quality of bestowal. But upon the ascent of Malchut to Bina, Malchut is also included in the quality of bestowal.
