515. Concerning the surrounding lights

When beginning the work, it comes from the surrounding light, which shines. However, when we want to receive inner light, it becomes dark because the surrounding lights shine even when one still has no Kelim [vessels] suitable for reception in order to bestow, while the internality comes specifically in vessels of bestowal, which he does not have. Therefore, when he goes under the Tzimtzum [restriction], the importance of the work departs from him.
