667. A Descent and Ascent in the Work
A descent in spirituality means that spirituality has descended in its value. An ascent in spirituality means that the value of spirituality has increased, meaning it has become more important.
Torah and work. “Work” means the work of the Kelim [vessels], meaning the qualities in mind and heart. “Torah” is the filling with abundance that comes after the correction of the qualities, or the abundance that comes for the purpose of the correction of the qualities.
