Rabash / Revealing a Portion and Covering Two Portions – 2

633. Revealing a Portion and Covering Two Portions – 2

“Revealing a portion and covering two portions.” That is, at first, everything was covered, and he came and revealed a portion and then covered two portions. Therefore, we should ask if it would not be better had he not revealed at all. The place that he revealed, had he revealed a portion and covered a portion, it would have been the same as before he revealed the portion. But if he revealed a portion and covered two portions then now it is more concealed than before.

We should say that previously, when it was concealed, it was not known that it is concealed. That is, there is a big intimation here, since if he covered the portion he had revealed, it would be as concealed as before he revealed. So what did he gain by revealing? Also, if he did not cover what he revealed, the matter would be revealed to all, and the revelation is not beneficial to everyone.

Hence, if he revealed a portion and covered two portions, it means that there is a cover here that they did not feel before. That is, if it were as before he revealed, it would not be known that there is a cover here, since when one feels that there is a cover here, there is something to grip, as this cover will invoke a person who is looking for ways to reveal.

This is similar to a person having to believe that the Creator hid Himself from the lower ones. But not everyone believes in the Creator, to say that He hid Himself. It follows that one who believes in concealment, believes in the Creator.
