Rabash / Capital and Fruits

611. Capital and Fruits

“‘There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is heavy upon men.’ This evil is the force of the evil in the heart that wishes to dominate the worldly matters and does not watch over the matters of that world” (The Zohar, BeHaalotcha, Item 140).

The Creator gives him wealth so that through it, he will be rewarded with the next world, for wealth is called “There is none who is poor except in knowledge.” It follows that the Creator gave him knowledge, which is Torah and good deeds, so that through it, he will be rewarded with the next world. The next world means Bina, meaning vessels of bestowal, and he uses the Torah and Mitzvot [commandments] in order to be rewarded with this world, called Malchut, which is the will to receive.

There is the capital and there are fruits [yields]. The capital is for the next world, and the fruits are to eat in this world.
