“And it came to pass because you hear these sentences and observe and do them, the Lord your God will keep for you the covenant and the kindness that He has sworn to your forefathers.”

RASHI interpreted that if you observe minor Mitzvot [commandments] that a person tramples with his heels, the Lord your God will keep for you, etc., will keep His promise to you.

We should understand that “minor Mitzvot” imply contempt, referring to the intention to bestow, which is something that the body despises. But if a person observes, the Creator will keep His promise. Otherwise, there is a Tzimtzum [restriction] over a person’s actions, so the light of the Creator cannot be on them.
