The Main Thing For Advancing in Spirituality
So great to see you all here today! We did so much preparation up till now for the convention, we're going to talk to you about a very important topic today - our spiritual environment. We speak about it before the convention and receive something at the convention - but how do we carry it on from there? How do we maintain what we've achieved? Who do I remain in touch with after the event? It's also good to have good habits to remain in this environment.
So far 274 students from the global course have registered for the Arvut system. This is also part of choosing the right environment.
We thought you'd all be on your way to the convention by now - by air or sea. By car or train. We've been preparing you for an entire year - so now we've reached the final stretch. You always see it in the stadium of the Olympics. Many of us are involved in the preparations for this great event. We've been going over the materials in depth and we're on our way to the regional convention in the US. There is a great excitement in the air. We can advance without a convention. But since we're human - we can't be ON 24/7 - it's impossible. We need these peak points and that's what a convention does. From the moment we set the date, it takes on a spiritual essence.
274 students is a huge milestone for all of us - that you're transitioning from beginners to really being part of the community. The light that reforms is there in our Arvut system - we have friends from all over the world connecting to the our common virtual home. The virtual home of everyone who studies Kabbalah. You're not paying for it yet which is not great for your spirituality. We've given it for free for two months. But we recommend paying for it as soon as possible - the profit is all yours.
We have friends who will sit in the broadcast room the entire convention - that is their profit. They are paying in full for the convention of course because without that there is no advancement. So now you're part of the Bnei Baruch family and we hope you'll be feeling at home soon.
Why did we call it the Arvut system? You're all still on Zoom but you'll enter the new system on November 15th. It's an environment where we have live broadcasts for 5-6 hours a day. This is very convenient for the friends to participate in lessons with their ten - the system was designed specially for that. The Creator created the internet so that someone with no people around them physically can be surrounded by the friends during a lesson and other activities. This virtual environment really saves so many friends and allows them to be close together.
We plan to meet in person with each of you. At the end of the day - this work is individual. It's up to each of you to make sure you have a good environment for advancing in spirituality. Our job is only to teach you how to learn correctly - nothing beyond that. But it's not so simple. You can only learn this from people who have gone through the process themselves - that's what is so unique about the study.
When Rav was asked what the main thing was that he learned from his teacher Rabash - let's hear what you think. You can answer in the chat ....
Connection between friends
Adhesion
Tikkun
Love of friends
Arvut
Changing our intention from the will to receive to bestow
Why didn't you ask?
Discipline
Importance of the goal
There is None Other Beside Him
All these things are correct but there is a precise answer that we'll hear in the following clip with Rav:
Student: What is the main thing you learned from Rabash that helped with your spiritual advancement?
Persistence. Maintaining order each day, week, month - and in this way go over everything we need to learn in this wisdom and apply it. For Rabash it was very important that each and every student show up for the study. Some fall asleep right away. But if he comes and sleeps in the lesson - Rabash saw it like attending. So they didn't miss anything because there were there. And they advanced.
This is the greatest study especially for our time where we're starting to implement the wisdom in great numbers - the main thing is taking part. Meaning sticking to the daily schedule. Even if I don't understand with my brain. But I need to invest this time and dedicate it to the study, dissemination and connection with the friends. Don't look at how much we understand - but rather how much we open the heart. Even if it doesn't open that quickly - but he remains in the lesson and expects it to open. And then it will happen. This is what I learned from Rabash. I'll be very happy if you don't forget this - give everyone what they need to "cook" - for some people it takes years, others decades - and for others even a few incarnations. The closer we get to the end of correction the ego is so developed, we need a greater correction. So we need patience. And we need to learn this on ourselves and the whole world. The main thing is to maintain the daily schedule and the connection between us. Michael Laitman
In a following clip Rav explained how each day we get our special spiritual unit - and we get that in the morning lesson. This must happen on a daily basis - us being in contact with the upper light to correct our souls. It's all really only a matter of priorities. If spirituality is important to me - I need to arrange a framework for advancing in spirituality. This is the authentic wisdom of Kabbalah. There is no magic. There is work. But when you come and persist in the work - you attain. Do you think people would get up for 30 years for the morning lesson if it was otherwise? We're all advancing toward the goal at our own pace - what other purpose is there in our lives?
