Shame Can Raise Us to the Creator’s Degree

The degree of Adam begins when we feel not only the pleasure but also the Giver behind it. The resulting shame can outweigh even infinite pleasure; when corrected, it raises the created being beyond its own vessel toward the degree of the Creator.
