Freedom Begins When the Host Matters More Than Pleasure

True independence arises when the image of the Host fills a person more powerfully than pleasure or suffering, making both sensations equal in importance. Rising in faith above the will to receive allows a person to use the whole of creation not for personal enjoyment, but to resemble and bestow contentment upon the Creator.
