Kabbalists explain to us that there is a potential state, if we can put it that way, where once, since there is no time in spirituality, we were in adhesion with the Creator. Afterwards, we left this adhesion and developed to the opposite state, contrary to the Creator, to the point where we don't even feel Him. Then, apparently from this state, as he writes here, only from this state of separation can we return once again to that state of adhesion.
