The Method of Kabbalah: Correct the World by Correcting Yourself

Baal HaSulam, “600,000 Souls”: And when a single soul is purified from all its filth, it will draw onto itself the whole of the soul of Atzilut, and through it, all the souls of its generation will be completed. This is the meaning of one being dependent on the other.

This is the outcome of a complete mutual connection between all souls. No soul can rise on its own; it must take all the others along. Every ascent depends on the whole system. It’s an integral structure where all parts are tied together. When a soul corrects itself, it corrects its link with other souls and brings them closer to correction too.

To correct yourself means to fix your connection with others. Their state doesn’t change right away. I’m only preparing them for their future correction. In this sense, I go before them, like a previous generation. I build a connection with them even if they don’t know or understand what I’m doing.

I use the entire system of souls to improve the connections as much as I can. But those who aren’t ready yet can’t feel or grasp my actions. They’re not at correction yet, but I involve them in it. This is called “the preparation of sons by the fathers.” It’s like in our world, where parents prepare things for the next generation, and the children benefit from it later.

We fix the ties between us - our “layer”—until the gaps between souls fade away. From our side, humanity as a whole is corrected, even if others don’t feel it yet. When their time comes, they’ll receive the tools they need to do their part.

Why do they deserve this help? Because I also once received help from earlier generations, from “older” souls. Every new generation is born with stronger egoism. Without the preparation done before them, they couldn’t do the work. We’re all part of the same process: those who face greater egoism are given greater help to overcome it.
