Learning Community - Matan Torah

We're sitting here in Petach Tikvah and our hearts are in Ashkelon where our next in-person event will be. We also saw the Netanya group has gathered for this lesson - it's wonderful to see. There's also Rishon Le'Zion. We're starting to see the regional groups coming together. We usually meet the more veteran friends on Wednesday in the Tens Community lesson.

Next week we'll give this lesson from Ashkelon - it's intended for everyone in that area and anyone asking themselves - what is the meaning of life? You now have an opportunity to give them a real answer.

Clip: You will be as a vessel of absorption

What do they say? If you approach the source of abundance, and approaching according to the equality of form, that you will be in the same form as that source, then what is in that source will spread in you. You will be as a vessel of absorption of that abundance, that source. Yes?

The abundance that created you, created a will to receive in you. That abundance will fill the will to receive, and certainly then the will to receive will receive its best fulfillment that can be, because it was created by that abundance. That same Upper Light that created the will to receive, it will correct the will to receive so that it will be ready to bestow, that same light that created and corrected will also fulfill the will to receive.

We have no one other than the Upper Light that acts and completes all of its action. It makes itself upside down and in this it becomes the material of creation, then it makes itself the bestower on matter and makes matter reverse again, so that it will be able to bestow, and then it fills it. That is to say, it already awakens within this matter a third action, which is called "filling."

Everything, all the actions are done by the same Light. Nothing happened here, but once the Light bestowed, created a will to receive, a second time it is, you can divide it into more sub-actions here, a second time it corrects the will to receive so that it will have the intention to bestow, a third time it fills the will to receive with the intention to bestow, that's it. Everything is done by the Light.

Along the way it also arouses a will to receive so that it will want to itself, as if to correct itself and to fill itself, etc., but all the actions come from the same Light, so of course when the Light does these actions in the creature, the creature feels in the fulfillment of the Light, the best state.

Question: But I only feel results, I don't feel - this whole equation in the Light disappears.

The "Light" is called a result of an influence that I don't know who and what. That's right. The Light is called in me. That's how we learn as well. What is fulfillment is a screen and Light returns. My admiration, my desire to bestow in all kinds of forms, this is called the Light in me. The excitement of the will to receive is called "Light." Michael Laitman

On the one hand this process we're going through is so exciting, and on the other hand so practical. We are made of material that is opposite to the force that created us. The light operates on us to make us similar to Him. The only thing we can do here is accelerate the light working on us. Attracting the light that reforms will build new virtues in us. That's the purpose of everything we do. In order to connect with the friends to attain the Creator.

If the light is working on me all I have to do is agree with it. But I also need to have a demand to advance - so I need to have a deficiency. This is a great part of this wisdom - how to work with our desire with this light operating on us. Learning how to work with this force operating on us - how He does it and how we can help speed up the process. That's why it's a universal wisdom for every single person on the planet. We always have the choice to lift others and contribute in a positive way to our society.
