Module “Caretaking” Lesson 2

The main goals of a Caretaker are:
1.To focus on the desires and needs of new BB students
- These are new people who ask themselves about the meaning of life. They found Kabbalah through our internet sites or other ways and are interested to engage in it.
- After they got in touch with Kabbalah, they start asking questions and want to develop. Due to this reason we offer them education in Kabacademy and our campuses.
- They will ask all kinds of questions from technical ones (how to install zoom, how to login in Sviva tova, how to connect to the ML-Rooms) to special kabbalistic questions, only Rav could answer! So be prepared! Answer in time.
- As a caretaker you keep tight contact with these students but also with the teachers.
- You - teachers and caretakers - are sort of “parents” for the new students, who need a warm atmosphere and need to be helped in their spiritual development.
2.To support BB instructors
- The instructors also take care for new students - they do it mostly through teaching and preparing curriculums for lessons. They have to search and choose the right materials and sources.
- But a teacher cannot work unconnected and on his own. He also needs a helping hand at organising lessons and preparing the right material.
- The supporting caretaker helps at organising lessons and meetings and will also have to send Newsletters or email invitations. You should have therefore some knowledge concerning email- and newsletter tools - or learn it with the help of an experienced friend.
- Teachers (instructors) are always in touch with caretakers, because they are fully responsible to integrate students in the BB education process; the best performance you can reach is by acting like a team - like a parzuf or a ten.
