What is the wisdom of Kabbalah?

“The essence of The Wisdom of Kabbalah is only to know the guidance of the Upper Will; why the Creator created all the creatures, what He wants from them and how their development will be finalized”

Ramchal, Introduction to the Wisdom, point 30

The Library of Rav Dr. Michael Laitman

The wisdom of Kabbalah is a method to discover the forces that governs our lives and the reality in which we live.

The study provides an understanding of the system of forces influencing us, and teaches us how to adjust our attitude toward this system of forces.

Kabbalists have written that we are now in a unique time in history when all of humanity is ready to discover spiritual reality.

With the help of the wisdom of Kabbalah, humanity can create a system of positive connections among people, and ultimately leading to a connection with the upper Force.

“I find a great need to break an iron wall that has been separating us from the wisdom of Kabbalah”

Baal Hasulam was the first to interpret the entire Book of Zohar and the writings of the ARI. the first to write book to make the ancient wisdom of Kabbalah accessible for everyone, the first to publish a Kabbalah newspaper and disseminate it widely

Among his major works are: Talmud Eser Sefirot (The Study of the Ten Sefirot), Perush HaSulam (The Sulam Commentary) on The Book of Zohar, the Nation newspaper, and many more articles.

The writings of Rabash

Rabash
Rabash

The Rav Baruch Shalom HaLevi Ashlag, the eldest son of Baal Hasulam.

Rabash carefully wrote everything he heard from his father in his personal notebook, which he titled Shamati (I Heard). In it, he recorded thousands of unique details documenting Baal Hasulam's explanations of a person's spiritual work.

On his deathbed, Rabash gave that notebook to his student and assistant, Rav Michael Laitman, who published it three years later.

Through his work with his students, Rabash developped a way to learn Kabbalah adapted to our generation. Each week, he wrote an article that explained every step of a person's inner spiritual journey in clear and simple language.

These articles were collected by Rav Laitman and compiled into a series of books called "The Writings of Rabash".

The Book of Zohar

The Book of Zohar is one of the central texts in the wisdom of Kabbalah, It was written by Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai (Rashbi) and his students in the 2nd century.

The Book of Zohar originally included a commentary on the Torah and other books such as Nevi'im (Prophets), as well as Kabbalistic explanations to the Mishnah and the Talmud.

What’s currently available today is 20 times smaller than the original size of the Book of Zohar, containing only a commentary on the Pentateuch (Torah), and a few of the commentaries on the other books. But this fact does not detract from the value of the Book of Zohar.

Baal Sulam, one of the greatest Kabbalists of the 20th century, understood the enormous importance of The Book of Zohar and therefore wrote the Sulam Commentary, the most comprehensive and in-depth commentary on The Book of Zohar.

Baal HaSulam - Rav Yehuda Ashlag

“The depth of wisdom in The Book of Zohar is enclosed and locked behind a thousand locks, and our human tongue is too poor to provide us with sufficient, reliable expressions to interpret one thing in this book to the fullest. Also, the interpretation I have made is but a ladder to help the examiner rise to the height of the matters and examine the words of the book itself“

Baal HaSulam, Foreword to The Book of Zohar

Zohar for All

We made accessible the authentic Book of Zohar, translating it from Aramaic to Hebrew in a series of volumes titled Zohar for All, which includes the Sulam Commentary and the Book of Zohar.

Zohar for All is the result of years of work by skilled editors, led by Rav Dr. Michael Laitman and Bnei Baruch students, to make the Book of Zohar accessible in simple, clear language for everyone.

The Zohar for All series is being translated by Bnei Baruch students into other languages, including English, Russian, Spanish, German, French, Turkish, and Ukrainian. It is available for purchase and can also be read online on the archive website. Translation work happens daily to make the Book of Zohar accessible to a wider audience in various languages.

International Events - Global Connection

“When humankind achieves its goal, by bringing them to the degree of complete love of others, all the bodies in the world will unite into a single body and a single heart. Only then will all the happiness intended for humanity become revealed in all its glory”

Baal HaSulam

Bnei Baruch holds international conferences worldwide, with the main one taking place each year in Israel. Thousands of people from dozens of countries attend. Each conference focuses on an important topic from the wisdom of Kabbalah and includes lessons, workshops, Kabbalistic meals, gatherings of friends, and cultural events.

The wisdom of Kabbalah teaches that the spiritual journey starts with a connection between hearts. This connection reveals the upper force—the Creator. The purpose of the convention is to strengthen and practice these principles.
